At This Seafood Restaurant, the Crab Will Not Stop Dancing

A cast of hand-painted characters let loose across quiet paper, hairline rules and wide-set capitals.

A seafood restaurant whose whole identity is a cast of characters that will not stop dancing. The quiet half is paper, hairline rules and wide-set capitals. The loud half is a crab on roller skates, painted by hand and let loose across all of it.

The menu. A wide-tracked wordmark that behaves like a stamp, and the crab, painted once and never redrawn as a vector.Make Believe House
Menus on clipboards: tracked capitals for the dishes, blue handwriting for the jokes. Sardine shuffle, tuna twist, oyster waltz, crab disco.Make Believe House
Aprons make the kitchen part of the show.Make Believe House
One crab, centred, on everything that gets spilled on.Make Believe House
